Just some sculpey playing. I'm very beginner at sculpey, BUT. I really enjoy it. :]
The bluebird is for my mom for Mother's Day and the lizard/gecko... I just wanted to make. xD
Sculpey III polymer clay was used.
The blue bird is painted with acrylic and glossed with polymer glaze.
The lizard/gecko is not baked yet. But he will be! I'll probably bake him and paint him with acrylics and add just a little gloss, like to his nails and eyes.
Note: I've noticed that the polymer gloss doesn't go well over acrylic, which is why my bluebird is a little 'crackly'. But, I guess if that's a look you like... Then it could be fun to experiment with. :]
